Setting Boundaries for Healthy and Fulfilling U-life

Relationships play a vital role in our lives, and building and maintaining healthy boundaries is crucial in nurturing respect and well-being within our relationships. Boundaries are the limits and guidelines people set for themselves in different aspects of life.
In the workshop, Ms Rui Qi Lim, a registered social worker and life coach from Wholeness Wellness Bar, facilitated participants in learning the importance of boundaries in relationships, identified common types of boundaries, and distinguished between porous, healthy, and rigid boundaries, highlighting signs of each type. Rui Qi also used interactive activities and case studies to illustrate effective ways to communicate boundaries and help participants determine their personal boundaries.
By the end of the workshop, Rui Qi shared common challenges in establishing boundaries and provided practical tips for addressing them. She emphasized that boundaries are not permanent and should be revisited from time to time.
